GaiaX is the pathway platform of the TAFA education family, based in Singapore.
Our story
Every child's future starts with a piece of work. The first drawing at three. The first robot at eight. The first AI model at fifteen. The first portfolio at eighteen. The first job at twenty-two.
Most education companies walk one part of that journey with a student. GaiaX was built to connect all of it — one platform, from early creative education through portfolios, research and competitions, to global universities and first careers.
We don't promise admissions. We build capability. We don't sell shortcuts. We stay for the journey.
The name
Gaia is the ground.
X is the unknown.
Gaia — the earth things grow from. X — the variable every child carries: the talent not yet named, the direction not yet chosen. Our work is the soil and the search. Give creativity a place to take root, and help each student find their X.
What we believe
Four beliefs behind every program.
Studio over lecture
Ability is built by making, not by listening. Every program puts real materials, real code and real briefs in students' hands from week one.
Critique is kindness
Work is reviewed openly and improved honestly — the way art schools and research labs actually operate. Students learn that feedback is fuel, not judgement.
Projects, not promises
We never promise admissions, publications or offers. We build the evidence — and let the work make the case.
Ten-year relationships
We plan in stages, not semesters. A three-year-old at Tree Art may present at a GaiaX showcase at seventeen — the pathway is the product.
How we teach
A studio, not a classroom.
Our art curriculum runs on the GaiaX curriculum system — the Double Diamond design process, drawn as the X in our name, taken through five levels from Art Exploration to Artistic Expression. These are the mechanics that make it real.
- Small cohorts, so every student is seen every session
- A weekly rhythm with critique built in — never teaching for teaching's sake
- Published milestones for every program, shared with parents at each stage
- Work archived from day one, so progress is visible, not remembered

What does the X in GaiaX stand for?
The unknown a student goes looking for — and, drawn literally, our method: the Double Diamond design process laid end to end forms an X. Find your X Factor is the teaching philosophy; the name is the method.
How is GaiaX related to Tree Art, Futurum Academy and AK Robotics?
One family, different jobs. The sister schools build abilities — creative, technical, competitive — and GaiaX connects them into a single pathway towards universities and first careers. Students move between us without starting over.
What programs and services does GaiaX offer?
Six programs across art and technology: Art Portfolio Pathway (ages 12–18), AI Research Pathway (ages 13–18), Robotics & Competitions (ages 10–18), University Portfolio & Application (ages 15–18), University & Career Pathway (ages 16+) and Global Research Mentorship (ages 15–22, opening soon). Around them sit free trial classes for every age group, destination and discipline guides, a printable parent guide and consultations at two Singapore campuses — The Heeren on Orchard Road and Goldhill Plaza.
