How many programs should run at once?
Usually one deep plus one light. A flagship — Art Portfolio or AI Research — carries the depth; a Robotics season can run alongside as rhythm. Three parallel commitments in exam years is how everything becomes shallow, and we'll say so in the plan.
Who sees my child's work in progress?
You do, at every milestone — and gradually, strangers do: critique groups, showcase audiences, competition judges. Learning to show unfinished work safely is half of what this stage trains. Nothing is published beyond the studio without your family's consent.
We're starting late — is sixteen too late?
Harder, but workable — with honesty about what fits the time left. In a consultation we map what can genuinely be built before applications, and what can't. No one benefits from a fantasy timeline.
How does this fit around school workload?
Programs are paced around the school calendar — lighter through O-Level, A-Level and IB exam seasons, deeper in holidays. The rhythm is agreed before we start, and adjusted when school demands change.
Portfolio or grades — which matters more?
Both, honestly. Grades open the door; the portfolio makes the case. We plan the pathway so the work strengthens the application without sinking the report card.
