Kickoff
Diagnosis, topic selection and goal setting. Output: confirmed topic and a project plan with milestones.

Weeks 2–4
Foundations
AI and data fundamentals, methods and literature. Output: literature review and prepared dataset.

Weeks 5–8
Research
Modelling, experiments and iteration with regular reviews. Output: a working demo and mid-point review.

Weeks 9–11
Write-up
Research report, presentation deck and GitHub portfolio. Output: report, slides and a public code repository.

Week 12
Showcase
Final presentation and project archive. Output: showcase presentation and archived project record.
Who teaches this
Standards, not mystery.
Technical mentors with hands-on build experience who insist students write and explain their own code. No ghost-written projects — the demo-day question is always 'walk me through it', and our students can.

Straight answers
Questions parents ask.
Does my child need to know how to code?
No. The first weeks cover foundations. Students with experience start from a more advanced baseline.
My child already codes. What does the advanced track look like?
Placement starts from the student's actual level, not the syllabus. Experienced students skip the foundations and take on a more ambitious question — typical directions include training an image classifier on a self-collected dataset, building a search tool over a personal archive, or a generative system with its own evaluation. The milestones stay the same; the ceiling moves.
Will the project be published in a journal?
Publication is not the goal and we never promise it. The goal is a working project your child can explain, demo and build on.
Is it a class or an individual project?
Both, in sequence: cohort foundations first, then each student's own question with mentor guidance. The demo your child presents at the end is theirs — same milestones, personal project.
What happens after the 12 weeks?
The project becomes part of your child's portfolio and can extend into competitions, further research or university applications.
